Control of Technological Processes

Web site is publicly accessible, the page does not require any registration.
The aim of the subject is to introduce students to technology management from the perspective of analysis, design, and its practical implementation in various types of hardware resources, with emphasis on PLC systems. The emphasis is on the internal structure and operating principles and diagnosis of programmable logic controllers. Students will learn the design methods of logic control, sequential control, measurement and control at the process level of control. Logic control and its implementation on the basis of modern tools such as Petri nets, sequential flow charts, contact scheme, an instructional list, measurement and control, closed control loops, programming in the structured text are present carrying part of the subject. To provide students and to explain the operating principles of finished laboratory products and the possibility of subsequent verification and a practical implementation of them proposed algorithms under laboratory conditions at the preparations. Students will learn how to creatively integrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the completed subjects in the complex information-control system.
The site can be found educational materials for lectures and exercises of the subject.
